Instant Funding Model

Updated this week

Voltara Funding’s Instant Funding Model is built for traders who want immediate access to live funded capital without completing a multi-step evaluation.

This model is suitable for disciplined traders who prefer fast access to a Master account.

Account Rules and Requirements

Maximum Overall Drawdown – 6%

The maximum trailing drawdown is capped at 6% of your highest achieved balance during the evaluation period. This includes all closed trade profits/losses, swap fees, and commissions. If your equity falls below this threshold at any time, the account is considered breached.

How does it work?

As your account grows, the trailing drawdown moves up with your highest balance, but it never decreases.

Examples:

  • $100,000 Account with $6,000 profit (balance = $106,000):

    • Once your balance hits $106,000, the trailing drawdown locks at $100,000 (starting balance + 6% buffer reached).

    • It will not increase further.

  • $100,000 Account with $5,000 profit (balance = $105,000):

    • Maximum trailing drawdown: $105,000 – $6,000 = $99,000

Daily Drawdown Limit – 4%

The daily drawdown limit sets the maximum loss you can incur in a single day at 4% of your starting account balance. This limit is calculated each day at 00:00 UTC, using the higher value between your account balance or equity.

How is it calculated?

  1. Determine the higher of your account balance or equity.

  2. Subtract 4% of the initial account balance from this value to establish the daily loss limit for that day.

  3. Examples:

$100,000 Account with $2,000 floating profit at 00:00 UTC:

    1. Account equity = $102,000

    2. Daily loss limit = $102,000 – $4,000 = $98,000

$100,000 Account with $2,000 floating loss at 00:00 UTC:

    1. Account equity = $98,000, but balance = $100,000 (higher value used)

    2. Daily loss limit = $100,000 – $4,000 = $96,000

  4. No open trades at 00:00 UTC:

  • Daily drawdown is calculated as 4% of the account balance.

Exceeding this limit results in a rule violation.

Minimum Trading Days – 6 Days

To qualify for payouts, traders must complete a minimum of 6 trading days.

Each day must generate at least 0.5% profit based on the initial account balance.

Consistency Rule – 20%

The Instant Funding Plan includes a consistency requirement designed to promote steady, controlled trading. Please review the information below carefully before you begin.

A consistency threshold of 20% is applied to all Instant Funding accounts. This means that no single trading day may account for 20% or more of the total profit generated during the current payout cycle.

If your highest-profit trading day reaches or exceeds 20% of your accumulated profit for that period, you will not be eligible to request a payout. You must continue trading until your total profits increase enough that your best day represents less than 20% of your overall gains.

Does violating the 20% rule breach or terminate the account?

No. Exceeding the 20% limit does not result in an account breach. It only delays your ability to withdraw profits. You must continue trading until your overall profit grows and the percentage contribution from your top-earning day falls below the 20% threshold.

Example

If you earn $1,000 in profit on your best trading day, that amount cannot exceed 20% of your total profit.

To meet the requirement, your total profit for the period would need to reach at least $5,000, allowing the $1,000 day to represent no more than 20%.

Leverage – 1:30

Instant Funding accounts operate with a maximum leverage of 1:30.

Profit Split – 80/20% (Upgradeable to 90/10%)

The default profit split is 80/20%

Traders can upgrade to a 90/10% split by purchasing a 20 percent add-on based on the account’s price.

Payout Frequency – Biweekly

Payouts are available every 14 days as long as the account is in profit and all rules have been followed. After a payout, the next one becomes available 14 days after your first trade following that withdrawal.

News Trading Restrictions

For Instant Funding accounts, trading is restricted within a 4-minute window surrounding high-impact (red-folder) economic news releases. This restriction applies 2 minutes before and 2 minutes after the scheduled release time.

How the Restriction Applies

  • If a high-impact news event affects a specific currency (for example, EUR or GBP), traders may continue trading unrelated instruments or currency pairs (such as JPY pairs, USD pairs not impacted by the event, or commodities like Gold), provided those markets are not directly influenced by the announcement.

  • However, during the following major economic events, trading is restricted across all instruments, regardless of the asset or currency involved:

    • Non-Farm Payrolls (NFP)

    • Consumer Price Index (CPI)

    • FOMC Statements or Interest Rate Decisions

Rule Enforcement

Any trade opened within the restricted news window may result in profit removal from the affected trades and will be recorded as a Soft Breach.

If an account receives two Soft Breaches, it will be terminated for non-compliance with the trading rules.

Traders are responsible for monitoring the economic calendar and ensuring full compliance with all news-related trading restrictions.

Weekend and Overnight Holding

Trades cannot be held overnight or over weekends.

All positions must be closed before the trading session ends.

Floating PnL Limit – 2%

Floating PnL represent unrealized losses on open positions in a trading account. In this account, floating PnL cannot exceed 2% of the total account balance. This means that at any given moment, the combined loss from all open trades should stay within 2% of your account equity.

If the floating drawdown surpasses this 2% limit, it is considered a breach of the account rules, and the account may be terminated according to the Voltara Funding risk management policies. This rule ensures that traders manage risk responsibly and prevents excessive losses that could jeopardize the account.

Maximum Allocation – 1 Account

Each trader is allowed one Instant Funding account.

(More allocation may be available through other Voltara models if applicable.)
